HYP Earth Day Yoga

Join Habitat Young Professionals this Earth Day for a grounding, beginner-friendly yoga session that connects compassion for the Earth with care for your body. It’s a chance to pause, breathe, and support sustainable housing in our community.
At Habitat DC-NOVA, we’re committed to creating homes that are both environmentally responsible and affordable for families in need. We build with sustainable practices in mind, from incorporating energy-efficient designs to using sustainable materials (like recycled blue jeans for insulation).
A $10 donation is greatly appreciated and helps fuel our mission to build a greener, more equitable future – one home at a time.

The Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) empowers women to be philanthropic on their terms. Members connect with like-minded women through social gatherings and volunteer opportunities – all while directly sponsoring the construction of Habitat homes.

Volunteer Appreciation Event
Location: 710 King St, Alexandria, VA 22314
It’s time to celebrate all the hard work of our volunteers! Thank you for your commitment toward the mission of Habitat DC-NOVA. It’s thanks to you that we have been able to help local families access critical home repair and affordable homeownership opportunities.
The event will take place at Alexandria Bier Garden on May 3rd, from 1-3.
We will have food and beverages, along with fun games and awards to hand out. Feel free to invite friends and family to share in the celebration!
