Bob Murphy
Biography
Bob Murphy has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate operations, ownership and investment; and he has overseen 20 million square feet and over $3.5 billion of development and acquisition investments over his career. He joined Trammell Crow Company (TCC) in 1987, managing the firm’s regional operations as Principal. Bob’s last role with TCC was Area President of the Development and investment group in the Mid-Atlantic, TCC’s most active and profitable division. He co-founded MRP Realty (MRP) in 2005 and utilizing his in-depth knowledge of Mid-Atlantic real estate markets, and his reputation as a collaborative and creative partner to drive the firm. Bob received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame; his M.B.A. in Finance at Columbia Business School; and was an officer in the United States Army. His current Boards and Associations include: Chairman of Northern Virginia NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties), Board of Directors for the Urban Land Institute Washington District Council and the Board of Directors for Mt. Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District.
