Biography
Madi Ford serves as the managing partner of Audeo Partners. In this capacity, Madi manages acquisitions, deal structuring, development, risk mitigation, joint ventures, and equity and debt finance from a legal perspective for Audeo Partners. Madi has executed over $250M in debt financing including HUD, agency, and conventional market loans as well as structuring 1031 and opportunity zone equity for development deals. Madi has secured multiple successful PUD and BZA approvals for development projects totaling over $1B in development potential. She has also successfully managed complex litigation related to a class-action suit which allowed a $700M development to proceed. In addition to her transactional experience, Madi has expertise in corporate governance and strategic operations.
Prior to founding Audeo Partners, Madi served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at MidCity Development, Director of Legal Affairs at Vantage Management and as a Corporate Associate at Bingham McCutchen L.P. Madi prides herself on advocating for empowerment of women in business and has participated in panels and speaking engagements related to working in family business as well as mentoring young women in real estate, diversity in the workplace, and the value of inclusiveness. Madi has been named to the National Multifamily Housing Council’s Emerging Leaders Committee and sits on NMHC’s Women in Multifamily Working Group. Madi serves on the Board of Directors for The Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School, Habitat for Humanity of Washington D.C. & Northern Virginia, and The Alice and Eugene Ford Foundation. She also serves on the Leadership Council for the District of Columbia and the Greater Washington Community Foundation Partnership to End Homelessness. She has previously served on the boards of directors for two private companies, the Community Services Foundation, and the Holton-Arms Alumnae Association.
